Through U.S. President Obama's Feed the Future Initiative, USAID/East Africa is helping to improve food security.

USAID's regional mission in East Africa is pleased to announce the second round of review under the African Institutions Innovation Mechanism (AIIM), with concept notes due by October 11, 2012.
Details on the Annual Program Statement and how to apply can be found at: http://www07.grants.gov/search/search.do?&mode=VIEW&oppId=147073. Please note that programs under AIIM are restricted to regional indigenous organizations in East Africa.
USAID/East Africa will also be holding a workshop for all interested applicants on September 17, 2012 at The Lord Errol Restaurant situated in Gigiri, Runda, off Limuru Road, in Nairobi, from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm. Conference participants must cover any personal costs of attending. Participation is limited to two people per organization. To register or submit questions regarding conference logistics, interested applicants should e-mail AIIM-ASSIST@acdivoca-kenya.or.ke with their name, contact information, job title and organization.
