USAID Strengthening HIV/AIDS Prevention Along Djibouti-Ethiopia Transport Corridor

The U.S. Embassy Djibouti Charge, Paul Pometto (left) and the Djibouti Delegate Minister of International Cooperation, H.E Ahmed Ali Silay right) sign an agreement to increase health funds primarily for HIV/AIDS prevention.

This amendment will strengthen HIV/AIDS prevention along the transport corridor between Djibouti and Ethiopia as well as continue the fight tuberculosis and polio.

Djibouti Delegate Minister of International Cooperation, H.E Ahmed Ali Silay, signed an amendment to the Health bilateral agreement for additional resources of $1 million for the Health program.
