School Environment and Education Development for Somalia (SEEDS)

This four-year activity improved the overall educational environment in at least 250 communities, through improvements to infrastructure, water and hygiene, management and instructional quality, as well as through targeted technical assistance to government education officials. 

 It also provided technical assistance that helped government education officials promote community-led initiatives to improve education, water and sanitation, economic opportunities while enhancing their management skills.

This activity ended in July 2012.
