• East and Central Africa Global Competitiveness Hub – One of four trade hubs established by USAID to assist African businesses in taking better advantage of the Africa Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA)
• Family Health International (FHI) - One of the largest nonprofits organizations working to improve lives worldwide through research, education and services in family health.
• Global Rights - A human rights advocacy group that partners with local activists to challenge injustice and amplify new voices within the global discourse.
• IGAD Climate Prediction and Application Center (ICPAC)
• Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) – Organization focused on drought control and development initiatives
• Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses (IMCI) - First developed in 1992 by UNICEF and the World Health Organization (WHO) with the aim of prevention, or early detection and treatment of the leading childhood killers.
• International Alert - Independent peacebuilding organization working directly with people affected by violent conflict.
• International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) – Africa-based international research-for-development organization.
• International Resources Group - helping manage the environment and natural resources.
• Search for Common Ground - A conflict resolution and conflict prevention NGO seeking to transform conflict into cooperation action.
